Malkoo dedicates concert to Pakistani blue-collar workers

At a press conference held ahead of the concert, Malkoo announced a special tribute to the hardworking Pakistani workers in Dubai. He acknowledged their dedication and sacrifices, often working in challenging conditions away from home.

As a token of appreciation, Malkoo declared free entry for all Pakistani blue-collar workers to attend the concert. "You all are doing a great job," he said in a message to the workers. "The musical night is being staged for you. I invite you all to take some time off work, come to the concert, relax, and have a lot of fun."

Malkoo clarifies stance on political songs

Malkoo and Sara Altaf's popular song "Nak Da Koka" has gained significant traction, with some versions referencing "Adiala Jail" and "Qaidi 804," seemingly in support of former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan, currently imprisoned in Rawalpindi. However, upon arrival in Dubai, Malkoo clarified his position as a public singer who avoids political bias."I have sung songs for all parties, not just prisoner (qadi) number 804," he stated.

A first-time performance in Dubai

This concert marks the first-ever performance by the popular duo Malkoo and Sara Altaf in Dubai. Sara Altaf also expressed her excitement to showcase her soulful voice and stage presence to the Dubai audience.

Sponsors and expectations

The musical evening is sponsored by Silver City, a prominent name in Pakistan's real estate industry, and Safeway Tourism.

The chief organizer, Maroof Anjum, promises an exceptional experience that goes beyond traditional music, catering to a wide range of music lovers in Dubai.

With a combination of popular artists, a tribute to Pakistani workers, and a focus on diverse entertainment, the "Malkoo Aur Sara" concert is poised to be a memorable event.
